I like this shot. Big metal surface with interesting texture and peering through to the background. And, of course, plenty of numbers in sequence.
I always get the feeling of being over powered around big ships. That's the feeling your photo conveyed to me.
for sure, it is a huge ship!
Very unique take on Numbers!
great contribution!
A very interesting way to measure the water levels. I see that it's looking low where you live as well!
She's certainly high in the water, or is she beached? Interesting shot.
the water level is much lower, but she is also newly arrived for repairs so she may be higher than normal.
Super post! What's "algoma" mean?
it is the name of the region north of Lake Superior where the Algoma Central Corporation (transportation) was started. They bought this almost 40 year old ship last year and changed her name from Canadian Provider to Algoma Provider.
Great shot for the day!
Great idea, I would have liked to post something like this!
Love these industrial strength shots.
A very interesting post. I like your choice for this theme day. Thanks for sharing with us all. It has some similarity with mine.
Okay. Thanks. We've been up the North Shore and into Canada at least once. Beautiful country. But Lake Superior scares me. So cold!
