Being from California I never knew what a Zamboni was until Charles Schultz named it in his cartoon "Snoopy." That's life without snow for you.
(BTW, your comment re: having photos of the Space Needle. I visited my in laws for some years, never got very close and never had a good perspective. Now I'm hooked.)
