to mezzanine
Royal Connaught
current plans are for a workout space/gym in the glassed-in room at top of photo, overlooking the lobby. a bit odd, I think.

Working out under the gaze of shoppers doesn't appeal to me, yet it's a light=filled, cheerful place.

Yep, there would seem to be something slightly incongruous about a bunch of people in sweaty shorts and shirts working out in sight of such glorious chandeliers.

A beautiful mezzanine! I think the exercisers would find it rather fun to be able to people-watch while treading the treadmill. On the other hand, as one of the people, I'd prefer to not look at folks exercising - for several reasons, one being they'd make me feel guilty for my lay-about lifestyle! :)

Maybe it will inspire people to join in or it could intimidate some!

It's so those healthy people can look down on the unfit.

Both photographs are good and worth showing.

Fitness spots with a window on the world seem to be popular. I don't find that appealing but it may work for a see-and-be-seen crowd.

There's a workout area in our athletics complex that has big windows allowing for views down to the pathways and parking lot below- that's what that upper floor reminds me of. The lobby as a whole is beautiful!
