A very interesting photograph and a great title! Why doesn't that tree have any leaves?

Re your comment on Ocala: I used a smaller camera in the kayak - a Canon S95 - takes good pics. Re your comment on The Villages:

You must remember that The Villages, now some 80,000 people in three counties and growing exponentially, is a "Disneyland for Adults." Lake Sumter Landing and all the buildings are pretend stuff. That old shrimp boat was put there for "color" and it's been sinking for years. Every so often they have to drag it up, empty out the water and patch it so it doesn't disintegrate.

The thing is, The Villages can be fun. There are now three "hometowns," all of which have "town squares" with music and dancing every night of the year (weather permitting). We live about 35 miles north in Ocala but go down there frequently just to get pictures, eat in a real deli and people-watch.

the leafless tree is due to the photo being taken a week ago! though, there are still some trees just starting to bloom.

...And I think sometimes that our winters are long! All I have to do is remember our northern friends and realize I have to stop complaining. We are surrounded by leaves and full speed ahead spring growth.
This building is certainly blue!

It is a nice shade of blue.

Quite blue!

We have some trees here that are still like that too.

There are still trees looking like that one around here but most are staring to get leaves. Like your pic!

Looks like a painting out of the 30s... like Charles Sheeler.
