Oh, yes! Lilacs at the Royal Botanical Garden in Berlington and their fragrance would wake up zest for life in anyone. I used to go there with my daughter. It was amazing. Coincidentally, yesterday Stuart Mclean on the Vinyl Cafe talked about the RBG and the Lilac Grove there.
