We've had fireworks here in recent days, though I haven't been out in time to catch them- I wonder if we'll have them tonight.

Surprisingly, we haven't heard many this weekend. Makes you wonder where everyone went!

Reminds me of our Independence Day celebrations on 4 July.

Oh boy, I hate these things. They're supposed to be illegal here, but you can sign a paper saying you're only going to use them for agricultural purposes and then you can buy whatever you want. I swear one of these days a rocket's gonna land on our house and it's gonna go up in flames!

Hope your Victoria Day celebrations are terrific. Don't blow a finger off, though.

And I loved your comment on The Villages about carrying a purse. You're so right!

Interesting name for a fireworks store.

There were lots of booms around here last night!

Ugh, I hate fireworks and firecrackers in the hands of non-professionals. You mean they're not illegal there? I want them declared illegal here but it's such a big business, it'll never happen.

Hope the fireworks didn't get rained out.
