Re your comment about feeling calmer: It may be something up there in Ontario that is edging its way south. Or it could be the fact that the snowbirds are heading back north and leaving in their wake an eerie calm! Yes?
Beautiful poppy - mime where blooming too. I am glad I took some pictures before the terrible storm arrived. How did you do? Guildwood is littered with broken trees branches and leaves. But all trees are still standing!! My flower garden received a lot of damage too:(

my poor irises have been flattened!
and a huge tree branch is in the process of being chopped up after falling and narrowly missing a few cars.
Wizard of Oz... everytime I hear the word or see a poppy.
