Now I am looking for a toy police-car, a Matchbox version. And I can find ones like that on the RHS, but they both are so very disimilar to the paint job on our vehicles here in Sydney. I guess I need to go into a specialist toy car shop. I am looking for an Australian ambulance, too. Sounds like a trip for a job lot to me. A fire engine, too. All the usual city services, but in a toy format.

Funnily enough, we already have two garbage trucks that look like our garbage trucks ...

What's this all about? Must be two different towns or jurisdictions represented. Or the police department is very confused! ;-)

Either one is easy enough to spot! :)

both are in the City of Hamilton, but the newer version is the 'old style' black and white. not all the cars have been repainted.

I like the old style.
Why is it sometimes I can comment on this blog and sometimes I can't? Do you turn off the comme ts function sometimes?

I like the old style too - it has been so long since they were black and white that they stand out much more.
I don't know why you are having trouble commenting. maybe others are too and that's why some days I get none? ;)
the comments are never turned off, so thank you for persevering.
