Nissan only made 20,000 of these retro cars for 1991 for the Japanese market. They are in demand and hold their value well as they are cute, ride and drive well, but are not for expressways. I've also never seen one except in pictures.
Great find! I don't think I've seen this car, either. I like the plate. And the hardware on the garage door looks like a pair of pointy ears in the driver's seat.

There is a woman who has one near here and I see it fairly often but didn't know what it was. Very cute car!
