It really has become something different than it was when I grew up. We didn't have coffee shops and we didn't have lattes and flavored coffees. I do recall some folks drinking iced coffee. And I know people who drank mostly cream with a dab or two of coffee! :)
But, it's amazing what is going on. People are spending hundreds/thousands of dollars a year at these "coffee shops"! I don't patronize them 'cause their coffee is too strong and when I play golf I carry mine in a stainless mug: black with sweet'n'low. It's a lot cheaper!
I do like to sit in coffee shops (you may have noticed...) and I like my coffee strong and black. and I never thought of drinking coffee while playing golf!
