It's one of those kind of advertisement that makes me wonder what they're really selling--history, coffee, romance, surely not just a flat in an old hotel. :-)
Probably a good idea, depending on the quality of the condos. I'd also guess when they talk about owning a piece of history they're talking about high prices.
Re your comment: I didn't even know you could put underpants on a photo. Oh, wait, you said "underpainting." Silly me. Nice, though! :))
I think it's great that they're using the building..after al it was built as a hotel and place for people to stay..as condos it's the same just a different concept.

I think it might be a combo of all of the above. the poor old hotel is symbolic of our history and they are hopeful of reviving the glamour of old.
