Very cool shot, Ham! A little HDR, too, right? I wouldn't want to live in one of those houses at the bottom of the hill, though. I wonder how many cars have slid into them in the winter time. I remember steep hills in Duluth as a kid and how, when icy, my dad would drive very slowly, bumping the curb every few feet to keep from careening down to the bottom!

Re your comment on Ocala: That guy was waiting for a haircut. Don't ask me why. Lots of the old, retired guys here go every week whether they need a haircut or not.

it is not so much the cars sliding off the access road, it is the road itself suffering through landslides bursting through the retaining wall.
and yes, some HDR (my current favourite)

yes, steep! there are several access roads switchbacking their way up.
